My Computer Is Alive!

My computer charger broke about a week or two ago so I have been away from the internet for a very, very long time. My friend’s macbook broke a while ago so she had a macbook charger that she wasn’t using, so I was in luck. But not having a computer for a while was sort of liberating. I got to practice my ukulele and piano more, and I finally started playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass again. But, needless to say when I went back on my computer I had so many emails so respond too, people to message back on facebook and not to mention my youtube subscription box!

During the period that I was away from my computer my friend found Buffy Season 4 ONLINE!! So I’m now going to but my Buffy count at the bottom of my blogs along with the fun fact. The other night we had a big family cook out at my house just because. It’s a big thing when my family gets together because we have a large family and usually can’t get everyone there. Although we didn’t have the whole family there last night I would say we had around half of it, which is still a lot of people to feed. I ended up leaving early and watching Dark Night at a friends house. After watching Dark Night again I realize how stupid the SWAT team is in that movie.

Now, you get my Harry Potter review, because I can’t not write about it. Over all I thought the movie was pretty good. I felt that they stopped trying to follow the book word for word and failing miserably, and did they’re own thing with it, which I liked. What I didn’t like was Bellatrix Lestrange. I thought it was just way to much “Ahhhhhhhh!!! Draco, sexy baby. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” You know? Now, I can’t exactly say my opinion on Lavender, but let’s just say Ron and Lavender’s relationship is…. something I’ve gone through before. Aside from that I thought it was a funny movie. Did anyone else notice though, that when Professor McGonagall said the line “Why is it that when ever there is trouble, I always see you three?” her right arm was transparent? I didn’t catch it until my second time seeing the movie, but I thought it was really weird.

So with nothing else to say, I leave you with this

Work Sucks, I know.

Glasses make me feel smart, like I have something to say and that something is very important. I bought a new pair of glasses today, and they’re the kind of nerdy glasses that you see in your dad’s yearbook. They’re non-prescription, but what ever they’re awesome. The only issue is that some people are jerks, for example I’ll tell you about a loser at my work, who I can’t stand. I was wearing them at work today because I just got them and wanted to see what other people thought of them, which for the most part, was all positive. Now this kid comes up to me and says “What the hell are you wearing? Those look ridiculous, why are you wearing them?” to which I responded saying that they’re mine, and in order to get him off my back I just told him that they were prescription glasses, and after I said that he said, “Oh dude, that’s so bad ass, that rocks.” Now, I don’t understand this, why does it matter if the glass in the glasses if normal glass or prescription glass? I think they just look cool, and I’ll still wear them.

On another, more stressful note, right now I am in the process of Shakespeare camp. Shakespeare camp is a camp I’ve been doing for a few summers, and you have to put on an entire production of a Shakespeare play in TWO WEEKS. That includes; auditions, casting, read through, memorizing lines, costumes, and building a set, and to top it all off, it’s not a full to weeks because we started on a tuesday and we don’t have to go in on weekends. This year we are doing The Merchant of Venice, and in the play I am the character Bassanio, which is a fun part, and the parted I wanted. Now, as much as I love this part, I don’t love how much he speaks. He doesn’t speak as much as some other characters like Shylock, but he does speak a lot, and for having less than 10 days to memorize all the lines, it can get hard. But now I’m just getting repetitive.

I got promoted in my job, I don’t think I told you that yet. I usually work in a hot dog and clam chowder take out annex, but I got moved up to bussing. Now that was (note the was) all find and dandy, but after a few days of training I realized that everyone who worked in that department was a complete jerk, and I couldn’t deal with that, so I demoted myself back to the take out annex.

I feel like I should take some time right now to appologize for how scatterbrained my blogs are, but that is me. I’ll start at “Point A” and I’ll try to get to “Point B” and sometimes I do, but I usually get to “Point M” and “Point J” and many other points before actually reaching “Point B.” I don’t know “why” I’m using quotation marks “but” I like them.

Oh, don’t go see Bruno.

I think that’s all I have to say, except I’m going to watch a So You Think You Can Dance marathon tomorrow and memorize more lines!
